Winter Sun (Publication)

A test shoot that I captured last year has been published on Sticks & Stones online! Jonny Harris from GTR and I braved the winter cold to capture some images around the arts centre. I love playing with light and shadow, so this time of year is one of my favourite times to shoot. Jonny was amazing to work with, really relaxed but also open to trying anything. A lot of models feel awkward contorting their bodies into strange poses, or trying potentially unflattering expressions, but Jonny actually initiated the slightly ‘odd’ feel to the shoot.

Published In Beautivation Magazine (US)

I always get excited seeing my work in print, and last week issue 3 of Beautivation magazine featured a test shoot I did with Tom Harris from GTR.

EPM Magazine Cover

Sooo excited to see some of my retouching work gracing the cover of Elite Property Management / Elite Agent Magazine. Featuring the fine folk at Melbourne Real Estate (MRE) South Yarra.

The photographer is James Braund. I assisted on this shoot, and also did the lighting and retouching. It was such a good day, especially capturing the group shot which contained over 30 people! Read about our efforts in James’ blog here. (You might even spot me in one of the behind the scenes photos!)

Below is the retouched group shot, which was not only inside the magazine, but is going to be printed on metal, at a gigantic scale!

Seeing your work in print is exciting.

Seeing your work really large in a shop window, unexpectedly, is REALLY exciting.

Look what I saw when walking through DFO yesterday. I do not claim to be the photographer here, but I worked as an assistant to Saville Coble on this campaign for Stafford Ellinson. I also did the retouching, so I feel like I was part of this final image.

How exciting!

“Call Time” Published in HUF Mag

It’s the best feeling when you wake up to an email that says your work has been accepted into a magazine. This week I was lucky enough to be published in HUF Magazine. I’d been trying to get this editorial published for a while, so I’m glad that I am finally allowed to share the images.

The concept behind this shoot was ‘Behind The Scenes,’ or what happens in between the shots of a fashion shoot. I had a lot of fun building up the sets using equipment and props that we naturally had in the studio.
